Frequently Asked Questions

How does Client-Centred Therapy Work?

1

Initial Assessment

You and your psychologist will work together to determine the areas you would like to focus on, identify your strengths, outline goals, and evaluate the best strategies to get you there!

2

Tailored Therapy

Different forms of therapy, like Cognitive Behavioural or Mindfulness-based, contain strategies that may never be a one-size-fits-all. As such, your therapist will work with you to design an evidence-based trailored approach that utilises the most effective strategies that work with your specific needs and goals.

3

Guidance and Support

Your therapist will never judge nor criticise you. Rather, they will work with you to guide you through the therapy process so that you can achieve the results you want.
